Technology That Raises the Bar

Our CEREC® system delivers same-day crowns and restorations, while 3D imaging enables precise implant planning that traditional X-rays can't match. Better outcomes, fewer appointments.

“Great experience.”

“I felt very comfortable getting my dental implant. The Dentist and dental assistant can see I was nervous and kept asking me if I was ok and telling me I’m doing doing great. I was a big baby in that chair and wasn’t judged. I had a great experience.” —Sandra, 5-Star Review

Prosthodontics
and Full Mouth Reconstruction

When tooth loss, decay, or damage affects most or all of your teeth, a comprehensive plan is the only solution that can restore your oral health. Full mouth reconstruction combines multiple restorative treatments, such as implants, crowns, bridges, and dentures, into a coordinated sequence designed to rebuild function, health, and appearance from the ground up.

Prosthodontists are uniquely trained for this work. Where a generalist might manage one piece of the puzzle, a prosthodontist is qualified to oversee the entire process: sequencing treatments correctly, anticipating how each element interacts with the others, and ensuring the final result looks and functions as a unified whole. At Brooklyn Heights Dental®, having three prosthodontists on staff means that even the most complex reconstruction cases receive the focused, specialist attention they demand.

Frequently Asked Questions

We look forward to answering all of your questions during a consultation. In the meantime, we have provided answers to these frequently asked questions:

What is a prosthodontist?

A prosthodontist completes three additional years of postgraduate specialty training beyond dental school, focused entirely on restoring and replacing teeth. At Brooklyn Heights Dental®, you have access to three, which is an uncommon level of in-house expertise.

Am I a candidate for dental implants?

Most healthy adults with adequate jawbone density qualify for dental implants. Your prosthodontist will evaluate bone structure, gum health, and medical history during your consultation. Patients with bone loss may still qualify after bone grafting.

How long do implants last?

With proper care, implants can last 20–30 years or more. The titanium post rarely fails once integrated with the bone, making implants one of the most durable tooth replacement options available.

Can I use my FSA or insurance for prosthodontic treatment?

Yes. We accept all major types of dental insurance and verify benefits before treatment begins. FSA funds can be applied to many prosthodontic procedures, and our team will walk you through every available option.

What's the difference between regular and implant-supported dentures?

Traditional dentures rest on the gums and can shift during eating or speaking. Implant-supported dentures are anchored to implants for a secure, stable fit that functions much more like natural teeth.

Is prosthodontic treatment painful?

Most patients are pleasantly surprised by their comfort level. We use local anesthesia throughout, and for anxious patients, we offer both nitrous oxide and IV sedation for a calm, stress-free experience.
