Dental Fillings — Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene, and Surrounding Areas
At our Brooklyn Heights practice serving Fort Greene, and other areas, we provide natural looking dental fillings. Our experienced staff fills cavities in a way that is safer and more attractive; safer because tooth colored fillings do not contain mercury like traditional silver fillings, and more attractive because the filling is virtually invisible.
Our experienced dentist, Dr. Eugene D. Stanislaus, and our entire staff, concentrate on providing long-term dental care. If you would like to learn more about our practice or believe you may have a cavity and would like to explore dental fillings at our office, contact us today. We are proud to serve Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Crown Heights, and surrounding communities with personalized dental care.
Root Canal Therapy
Root canals (also known as endodontics) is provided at our Brooklyn Heights practice serving Fort Greene and surrounding areas, to save teeth that would otherwise need to be extracted and reduce the extreme pain that can occur when a cavity reaches a tooth root. The procedure involves removing the central never of the tooth while keeping its hard outer structure intact. The empty space within the tooth is then filled in and, in some cases, a porcelain dental crown is placed on the tooth.

The importance of regular dental cleanings cannot be overstated. By having a professional teeth cleaning every six months at our office serving Brooklyn Height, Fort Greene, and surrounding areas, you can help ensure that your smile stays healthy for years to come. Regular teeth cleaning helps encourage early detection of dental disease and oral cancers, prevents tooth loss and bad breath, reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke (possible side effects of gum disease), and many other benefits.
We have conscientious and gentle dental hygienists with the highest levels of training. We customize a cleaning regimen that is right for each individual patient. This includes home care training, preventative maintenance, and early diagnosis of problems. To schedule a teeth cleaning appointment, contact Brooklyn Heights Dental® today.
TMJ disorder affects the functioning of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) of the jaw. This joint connects the jaw to the skull at the side of the head near each ear. When one or both of these joints stop functioning properly, the results can be traumatic. Individuals may experience severe pain and have trouble eating, speaking, and making facial expressions. At Brooklyn Heights Dental®, we have the experience necessary to diagnose and treat TMJ disorder so you can reduce or eliminate your pain and restore jaw functioning.
